About Mippe
Simplicity, color, and practicality—that's what it's all about for Mippe. With color, you bring the simple to life.
Mippe is a new Dutch design studio, started in 2021 by Michiel and Katelijn Langeveld.
About Michiel
Michiel has been creating beautiful things ever since he could walk. In 1995, he graduated Cum Laude as an industrial product designer in The Hague. It's no wonder he's pursued a career in design. He's won several design awards in recent years, including a Best of the Best Red Dot Award . Michiel is design, he brilliantly integrates technology and materials, and he can create anything he sees and anything Katelijn asks of him.
About Katelijn
Katelijn closely follows all the trends in design and home magazines; she can spell them. She has a keen eye for trends and quality, and therefore loves color. Especially colors with a brilliant name, which she can easily pull out of her sleeve. She also has a new idea every day; Michiel works overtime.

About Mippe
What Mippe felt was missing in the world of design, they create themselves. What is that? They lacked the right way to showcase beautiful finds—from design to thrift store finds, but certainly also that family portrait. This led to shelves and bowls with a hanging system that allows everyone to highlight their unique object. The hanging systems are subtle because they are so beautifully crafted that they don't stand out, yet they are there nonetheless. Design, as design should be. They are understated—naturally—colorful pops that fit into any interior.
Sweet
More and more shops have discovered Mippe and the SWEET collection is available in more and more places .
SWEET: Sweet yet spicy enough to sink your teeth into. And with a nod to Sweet Lake City, the place where it all began.
Mippe has really made my home more fun. I've used it to create little, stylish nooks on walls that would otherwise be dull and empty.

I really like the colors of SWEET! That's the biggest drawback: I want them all.

We have a mix of different Mippes (as we call them here) at home. The different shades work really well together, and it's great that everything coordinates.
